you wouldn't see it as the character Gowther is using his powers to manipulate the girl's mind.

Well, if you want to see the MCing better be following the context.The girl is controlled to believe she's in intimate relationship with Gunther (the penguin, yeah, fuck u Gunther) and to forget about her lil'bro (right? been too long since the last time i read deadly sins...). Anyway, her action and emotion got out of place as the result which is more than needed to satisfy the hub's requirement.

ps: Still waiting for Angel-chan scene btw
