Coming from someone who literally wrote the guide on how to exploit the thing (and now that I think about it, partially used it as inspiration for my fetish persona), I can say without hesitation that the Mesmetron is one of the worst, most infuriating hypnotic devices in fictional history. Considering that I could achieve equal or greater results without it in both NV and 4, I don't miss the abomination for a second.

Don't get me wrong though, not trying to demean in the slightest it's use here or in any similar artwork; outside of actual gameplay it's still a fun thing to romanticize ^^
