- Don't just add a white block and put your story there, it looks bad (use a fitting color to match your picture)
- Never add your text BELOW a picture, always to one side or both
- Do not use generic Fonts because they look bad
- Don't chose a text color that is hard to read (bright colors on white for example) or use text outlines to make them readable

Text outlines greatly aid readability, if you choose not to use outlines, use text colors that contrast well with the background color.
