ooh man i loved gx heck i even play a hero deck
The Hero deck was Uber OP for such a long time, now I just don't get why they have to add another gimmick to the game making it much more difficult to enjoy and mostly just means cards get obsolete much quicker, like seriously now a days I can get 3 Level 8 monsters out on my first turn with a good draw, or atleast one, it just seems like they skipped on what made the game intense

It sounds like you're talking about Power Creep. It's absurd to complain about, UNLESS it happens to quickly. Which considering it took around 10 years for the game to speed up to the point it's at, it didn't happen to quickly. WIthout power creep the game would have died. Simple fact.
Edit: Also Monster Levels are almost meaningless. In fact, Level 4 is objectively the most powerful, because it has the most support, and Rank 4 XYZ monsters are the most generic and most powerful.

The issue is that these days, the newest archetypes can get 3 Level 8 Monsters out in Turn 1 without any effort beyond the player making sure not to play cards in the wrong order. And 1 of those 3 Level 8's tends to have an ability that then lets it bring out more Level 8's, and the entire deck just turns into "Spam the Level 8 Monsters faster than your Opponent, with stronger ones than your Opponent." The only older style decks that still hold up against these Level 8 Spam decks are Gem Knights and E-Hero. And E-Hero is starting to falter. Soon, all that will be left in the meta is the "Can Attack in Defense Position, and have >3000 DEF on average" Samurai archetype, Generic Level 8 Spam, First Turn Kill archetypes, and Gem Knights. I'm fine with Power Creep, as long as said Power Creep doesn't cause the entire game to devolve into "SPAM THE SUPER POWERFUL MONSTERS THAT USED TO TAKE 3 TURNS MINIMUM TO SUMMON, BUT NOW CAN BE SUMMONED 3 AT A TIME IN THE FIRST TURN!"

So I realize I'm super late responding to this. You seem to have read absolutely nothing of what I said.
Monster Levels are meaningless. There are now two whole classes of Monsters that don't even have them.
In the current Meta, two of the top tier decks don't spam turn one.
Just...research the game before you make stupid claims.
