This reminds me of how in the original novel for Starship Troopers, there's some bits about how the soldiers are all hypnotically conditioned so that they can remember complex battle plans and catch short snatches of sleep on command. Young me with the budding fetish always thought the fact that we never got to see any detail on that was one of the biggest crimes in sci-fi history.

"The Forever War" has something similar. To get the new recruits to actually fight near the beginning of the story, they implanted hypnotic commands. Even though the character knew it was all false, it still worked.

Who said willpower was the deciding factor? Consent, and desire are what I check for, the rest is up to the imagining! :D

The only thing to make this better would have been if entering a trance and surrendering her will made it impossible for her to maintain her uniform and we got a shot of it dissolving away and exposing her breasts.

Wouldn't this technically count as self-hypnosis, which means she isn't necessarily SURRENDERING her will so much as the ring is acting on her WILL to unwind?
