What program did you use?
I used Photoshop CS6 and a Wacom Intuos 5 Tablet
Where did you find inspiration for your entry?
My first instinct was elf which developed into evil elf... which led me on to think about classic stories like Sleeping Beauty and Snow White but I wanted to put a twist on the traditional tale.
The concept is that the potion bottle, much like the spinning wheel in Sleeping Beauty, puts a trance on the stereotypical damsel in distress and transforms her into the villain. I've always thought the villains in most stories are the most interesting characters and seem to have the most fun :D She turned into more of a female Joker than I originally intended but I think it works :la:
The flowers are edited photographs of this hook I have in my room.
How long did it take to complete?
About 15-20 hours ...ish
