I actually like it better then the original movie, but I wasn't a big tangled fan, and they add some really interesting characters... Rapunzel is still a little too luckily convenient for my taste tho
first, you need to download and watch "Tangled: Before Ever After", a made for tv movie which is essentially the first 4 episodes.... but not considered part of Tangled: the animated series for some dumb reason. While you can chug along without the movie and pick up context, they really only explain how Rupunzel got her hair back, Cassandra and Rapunzels first interaction, and Varian's introduction in the movie.... and given the movie is about 4 times the length of an episode [so about an hour], they don't really play it on the Disney channel [that I've seen]

really, we need more mc-works on this character (in different version of course) and people(children, girls, etc...) that dance with a mindless smile into the night followng the hypnotic music <3

A lot of people complained about Varian's faceheel turn. But I actually like it since Varian was treated like shit when he's still one of the good guy. Cassandra is too busy having daddy issues and treat him like he's nothing. When Varian become evil it's his turn to have daddy issues (seriously though, you can replace the show's title to DADDY ISSUES THE SERIES and no one going to disagree). I actually rooted for Varian winning some. Maybe mind controlling Cassandra to become his sex slave or reveal the kingdom's "skeleton in the closet" to the public.
Also Cassandra is hot af but no one making mc stuff of her?
