Flagger, that's how it is in the show. I think. This seems to be based off season two's control rings that the Digimon Emporer uses to control the minds of Digimon. Correct me if I am wrong, but when the Digimon are controlled their eyes turn red. I say this should stay. It emulates the show and isn't due to laziness or anything. Probably.
Sure. They are fine and necessary to a point. Why were they necessary here? Aren't those solid eye color rules mostly for manips? WAS this a manip? Either way, like I had said it was likely an artist choice to have the eyes like they were to better emulate the source. To make it look better. Why punish that?
