and nah, not really, both popular characters to have together (at least, to my knowledge) and all. Funny coincidence though.

Yeah. IMO, Lucy and Erza are both great characters. Two people I know like them both with one loving Erza the most with the other loving Lucy the most. Meanwhile I enjoy them while loving Levi the most. Even so, Fairy Tail is a good anime that I love a lot because of many characters and the story itself. :)
