After Morinth took over as the new Shadow Broker and degraded her predecessor, Liara T'Soni, the dark Asari began plotting to turn Liara's closest companions into her pawns. At the top of the list was the illustrious Commander Shepard. Morinth had Liara spill every secret she had on the human spectre in order to bring down Shepard. When they were ready the duo breached into the Commander's apartment and subdued her. As she was restained, Morinth used her abilities to twist Shepard's mind until she was as meek and obedient as her asari lover. With Shepard now in her thrall Morinth decided to celebrate by having Liara pole dance before herself and Shepard.
