And the story to go with it: "Uh...do I...know you?"

The weird woman currently sitting in my chair looks up with a lazy blink, seemingly lost in her own thoughts. A grin slowly creeps across her face. "Oh." she says, voice slow and smooth. "Good. You're finally here."

"Well...yeah. This is my house. Seriously, do I-" "Ssssssh." she speaks over me, slowly rising from her seat. She holds a hand up to her ear, that lazy smile widening. "Do you hear it?" she whispers. "Uh...hear what?" "The music." she purrs, her eyes slipping shut as her hips start to swing. All her movements were so slow, deliberate, like every twitch of a muscle was being done with purpose. "I don't...hear anything." I say, as my eyes follow her dance. "Are you sure?" she says. "Listen closer."

She opens her eyes, staring directly into mine, and an odd thrill suddenly runs through me. Her eyes seem...glowing. "I...no...I don't..." "Ssssshhh. You know what. Don't worry about that. You will soon. Come and dance with me." "Dance? I don't-" I choke on my words, as a pinkish light flashes out of her eye. I thought...I thought I heard something. But I couldn't think of what. "Yeah. Dance. Come on. It'll be easy. You just have to follow the rhythm."

She holds out a hand, as my feet walk themselves toward her. The world around her fades, becomes hard to make out. It just all seems like...colors. Flashing colors. Another pulse comes out of her eye, as I whimper. She seems to appreciate that. "Come on. I'll lead." she starts to move me around, as my head fills up with fuzz. Another pulse out of her eye. "There you go. Just keep your body relaxed. It's a lot easier to dance with me if you're relaxed." she says, and the tension in my muscles just drains out. "That's nice. That's a good dancer. A good dancer is a slaaave to the beat." her tone is so calming and smooth, it feels so right. "The beat can take them over. Wash out their head. And I've got a beat for you right here."

Another pulse of her eye. "Pulse." she whispers. Another. "Pulse." my eyes are utterly locked with hers as we go for what feels like hours. Hours of pulsing, of giving into the beat. By the end of it, my mind feels utterly barren. It's just me, and her. "Do you hear it?" "Hear...hear what?" "The music?" I stare at her blankly, mindlessly locked in dance with her. Before smiling, lazy, slow, relaxed. "Yes..."

I was trying to make it *just* readable if you focused on it, but still hard enough to be good if you aren't trying to focus on it.
