slayerduck must be experiencing server problems. It may be best to wait until tomorrow to finish translating at this rate. And, yeah, that first sentence really doesn't make any sense. O.o
Here's the sentence if anyone knows of some translator that wants to give it a shot. Even with my understanding of the language I can't make sense of it:
So, I really don't trust Google Translate to get much right, but when I put that sentence in there, it gives me "It is in high spirits or no heart?". I can think of a few different ways to change this into coherent English that fits the scene, but I have no idea if any of them would be close to the intended meaning.
Okay, I think I can redeem my blunder. Now that I have a bit more context, having finished the rest of the series, and with a bit of research about the words, I think I have something that would fit. I'm taking a biiiit of liberty with it, but I don't think we really have a kind of expression that would fit with the way it's said in Japanese.
Hopefully everyone is satisfied, this is one of the longest ones I've done so far, and easily gave me the most trouble. Interesting story though.
Also, getting pretty good at placing the translation boxes correctly the first time =D
Gonna have to disagree with Koakuma though, none of that was too bold.
