Possession is hypno. and in the context of the adventure mode it's these spirits possessing copies of the characters.

So it's the spirit of Shantae that took over the body of a Samus clone.

Well this has got to be one of the stupider overreactions. Hope you don’t mind me flagging every single “Shantae in Samus’ body” post on the site in addition to every Smash Bros. Spirits post because of the ridiculous precedent set by this moronic deletion.

Either all of it counts or none of it does. Pick one and for the love of all that exists, and at least try to be consistent.
