Okay. Is every single maledom getting a harem going to end with a turning the tables?
Are maledoms with harems just not allowed to exist anymore?

Probably the reason why this chapter was done in flashback. This way we know things won't go full POV sub. Though there hasn't actually been any actual pov sub yet.

Exactly. I wanted to raise the stakes of the story and include some sort of challenge for the protagonist, but it's still fundamentally a harem story. Any table-turning is strictly a temporary thing.

Also, I don't want to explicitly label the series as maledom. I'm trying to keep it relatively gender-neutral so that whoever reads it can imagine themselves as the lead character. You'll notice the other characters always refer to the protagonist with they/them pronouns.

I'm calling it now, either s/he manages to make the insta-trance and uses it to trance Haruka (I mean, Haruka seems smart, so I'd think she'd have Yuki as protection, but Yuki apparently isn't there for the climax.
