I haven't watched Darkstalkers, so just so we're on the same page - why can't Morrigan just feed on Nami? Is she only able to feed on men? Or does she not want to waste Nami's energy?
I'm assuming here that what Morrigan is going to do is feed on those people's energy or life force and not physically eat them, since it fits more with what I do know about her. I could be wrong.

I admit to not knowing too much about Darkstalkers either. So I just went with this logic:

Morrigan is a Succubus. Succubus feed off men. Incubus feed off women. Morrigan is a Succubus so she only feeds off men.

I'm also not much of a demonologist either, admittedly...

Also, to my knowledge, the Darkstalkers cartoon show will teach you about as much about Darkstalkers as the Super Mario Brothers Super Show will teach you about Mario & Luigi or The Legend of Zelda...
