Just out of curiosity, which issue is this? I kinda want to know the context of what's going on in these two panels.
It's in the source. This is issue #75 of the main series. For the context:
They're being possessed by Cosmos, Discord's psycho lover from a thousand years ago. The star pieces they're wearing are parts of her. Once all six stars are brought back together, she'll be whole again and be able to plunge Equestria into eternal chaos that not even Discord can match.
