Anyway, commission #2 bitches. After saving over the file for the original incarnation of this I redid it comepletely which I think helped it out overall. Not much guidance was given other than: Cruiser D.Va, Talon Sombra, Sombra dom so I decide to sort of just wing it. Part 2 might be comm'd eventually but for now this is what was requested and I hope the fellow loves it as much looking all nice and pretty as he did 44 hours ago when I sent the draft render. But yeah... between life and starting over this one took 30 days and then only about 12 days for this version as it was heavily inspired by the original version so I had a good basis to go from and doing things a second time is a lot faster.
I have quibbles with this one but it's okay. Anyway, I've set up one of those new fangled Patreon things and for the first few months there are... TWO, yes that's right TWO $10 comm slots. I'll recommend contacting me first to make sure I'm able to execute your vision but they are indeed open. Also WIPs will be posted there as I work so if you feel like shelling out to help me cover the cost of electricity doing 44 hour renders then feel free. The posts concerning this one are public but that won't last forever and was meant more as a "here's what's going down."
So if you'd like to see the original version then head over here: www.patreon.com/Vynil3D and look for April 24th.
Also other than the booth there (which I modified) the set was entirely made by me with the large picture being my own work and the other being a creative commons photo and the third one (hidden mostly) being concept art from Bioshock Infinite.

Gee, thanks dad.
It wasn't too much actual trouble so much as technical difficulties and a lot of experimental methods to do things (like using 3 different "green screens," Magenta, Green, and then Orange, to make the hologram possible and then glitching them. My PC had an issue with the render halfway through and died and wouldn't boot due to a faulty disc drive (no idea why but removal resolved that issue). Not mention my retarded ass saving over the previous version as mentioned originally.

Thanks! I wouldn't really say it's smooth but it's great to hear that others like it.

While I personally dislike it still, the look has grown on me over the course of making it. It tempered my view of it from 'ew why the fuck use that' to 'okay I can see what they wanted here.'

Was the grain effect of the old TV intentional?
I'm asking cuz it looks good
It was -totally- intentional and not actually an Artifact left behind by a flaw with the rendering.
