I thought everyone hated Chloe, why is she a hero now, did she get little character arch or something like that?
She has slowly been getting nicer, but it's mostly because she got a Miraculous by accident and everyone just kinda ran with it.
I haven't watched in a while, but I know they introduced an even meaner girl to replace her as "the character you're supposed to hate".

I believe it's the last one of the third season. Either that or close to.
Last episode of the second season, actually.
Episode title is 'Mayura' by the way.

Queen's Battle Parts 1 to 3: Chloe's mother gets introduced and Akumatised into Style Queen. Due to part of her powers (which allow her to dissolve into a cloud of glitter), Marinette has to find a user for the Bee Miraculous, which can paralyse it's target. She loses the Miraculous and Chloe finds it. Marinette ultimately has to work with Plagg (not Cat Noir, Adrien was one of the first victims this time around) to stop her.
Soon after, she introduces herself to the world as Queen Bee, but since Hawk Moth is demoralised due to Style Queen's defeat (He considered her to be his masterpiece) he's not been causing trouble. Chloe resorts to engineered heroics, but finds out that she's in over her head, forcing the main duo to save the day. After getting chewed out by Ladybug and Cat Noir for her recklessness, Hawk Moth is able to akumatise her into Queen Wasp, basically giving her Queen Bee's paralysis power attached to a swarm of wasps. They save the day, Chloe returns the Miraculous, end of story.
In Part 3, her father gets Akumatised into Malediktator, with his powers being straight up Mind Control. He turns Chloe's really bitchy mother into a modern day Stepford Wife (kind of, his command is basically 'Be dedicated to this family') and hits Cat Noir with another attack, making him think he's an actual cat. Left with no real choice, Marinette ends up recruiting Chloe for real after Chloe and Ladybug have a much needed heart to heart. Chloe may still be a bitch, but she's getting better.
The episode above is the season 2 finale, Hero's Day, broken up into 'Catalyst' and 'Mayura'. Hawk Moth puts a plan into action that let's him Akumatise people en masse. He re-akumatises Lila into Volpina, gets her to make Paris believe that a now akumatised Ladybug has just killed Cat Noir on live TV, then turns his assistant into a villain whose power is to supercharge his own (hence every villain being red this time around). With Paris in a panic, he re-creates most of the villains from the show and turns them into a massive army, forcing Ladybug and Cat Noir to bring in the three Season 2 heroes.
Chloe has actually improved enough where Hawk Moth is concerned to actually pull of the unthinkable: She outright rejects an Akuma, to the point where Hawk Moth has to change targets. The new girl is Volpina's civilian self and the difference is simple: Chloe is selfish and spoiled. Lila is selfish and malicious, to the point where she's a main villain for the civilian life.
