Two questions. One, does anything interesting happen or is she just a 'crab'? Two, why'd he hypnotize her? I'm just looking for context

Episode summary:
First act: no related
Second act: Main character watched a hypnosis show the last night and tied a coin in order to make a pendulum, Takagi see that and says "Try it with me", eventually Takagi goes with empty eyes expressionless and the main characters in order to test that command her "raise your arm", "lower the arm", "Say I'm a genius", "What's your weakness?", "act like a crab" and then "put your finger on your nose". In that last one the main character avoids it of last moment repenting and Takagi reveals that it was not hypnotized and it was only pretending (although I doubt that it is totally true due to the empty eyes...


Act 3:
A girl stayed up late watching the same hypnosis show and when the hypnotist says to the man in TV "you are a dog" she starts barking too. She goes to the school with empty eyes and talk about that with her friends, She says she ended up hypnotized watching the show and was like a dog all night, but now she's fine. However, when the scene is about to end she starts barking and her friends says Are you sure you are not hypnotized now?
