Hey guys it's that one idiot that takes 20x as long to make a single animation than the others.

This one is a commission for a Patron on Patreon named 'Nemo'
It was started on 6/21... today is 7/25. The entire section here was animated from 7/16 other than the UI elements. There were many issues with getting the Persona models to work and Futaba was completely redone with a new body and rig in the middle which took like 3 weeks. Akechi wasn't so he's used minimally due to pains with using non-native models. The UI stuff had the groundwork laid while I was waiting on Futaba to be fixed and then finalized in that final crunch.
Anyway, to get into the making of this, the UI elements are painstakingly recreated one at a time from gameplay. The text boxes were remade by hand since they're slightly transparent in the game which means I can't just cut them out. Instead I had to remake them frame by frame and layer by layer (the nametag > the ' on the right, the white textbox outline, and then the actual textbox itself is the order used). Then I laid them frame by frame into VEGAS to animate them onto the 3D animation.
The dialogue was reviewed by various people but once more a shoutout has to be given to that AmateurThrowaway fellow for being a help and aiding my sheer exhaustion at the length of this project. Letterabcd also aided me and helped review the final dialogue lines.
Now into the 'holy fuck the creation of this was a trainwreck section with previews of the could've beens'
Shifts the direction from the first and probably would've been great to finish but the idea just wasn't fitting right for what was requested and I have trouble spending 3 weeks on the same set so I just decided to restart since I just wasn't feeling it
Game UI that went unused in the final product but kinda shows the direction the original was taking (and I hate that the Persona 3 reference didn't make it into the final cut but oh well).

I can confidently say now that I possess the highest quality Futaba model around...

Thanks to GIFDOOZER (twitter.com/gifdoozer ) for porting her over to my program and giving her a new body and redoing portions to fit as well as giving me the ability to do clothing combinations that are not possible with the default model. He spent like an hour making the boots look really nice and gave me the capability to have fuckin' feet yo. So she can do it. Expect a public release of that model soon.

Expect more as Nemo has indicated he desires to continue this story and Patreon is a monthly thing (but my Patreon is paused rn so I can catch up). And I am now actually playing through Persona 5 (and have almost beaten 3 Portable so maybe some Yukatan might appear).
