Greetings all, Figured I'd post something of my commissions here, finally. If you want the full story of this image, you can go here:

“Okay, is anyone here?” Zyla muttered, stepping into the room. The other two followed her, with Shadowdancer fading into a much more difficult to see outline of herself.“You know, doors are expensive to replace.” A deep voice glided across the room, fillingthe air strangely equally.Stormwave had her eyes snap wide. How could she have missed a person in this office? There didn’t even seem to be a source for the sound, like it was coming from a great set ofspeakers. Surround sound? Maybe they had been captured by a camera? They certainly hadn’tbeen the most stealthy. But then she saw it; a male sitting in the desk chair. That confused her, giving a moment for the others to speak.“Ah, bonjour, Mister Darkwitt. It seems we have found you. It has been hard to find theinformation we needed.” The rabbit spoke, still completely chipper, while coming to theforefront. A crystalline sword had materialized in her grasp. The needle-tip glowed a faintamethyst, leaving trails in the faint light as she stepped forward. The sword failed to draw her attention for long, instead keeping focused on the man.

He was unusual looking, to say the least. It wasn’t his species, not at all; he was a canine, obviously, even if she couldn’t tell the species exactly. Clothing was not an issue, since he just wore ablack, layered business suit. Even size wasn’t unusual, standing just about the same height as theapproaching Shadowdancer. It was what he was made of.His eyes glowed a bright cyan color. The suit edges followed that same rule, even themonogram of a blue triangle sitting on his tie kept up the light. It was accentuating his body, flickering inconsistently whenever he shifted position. A light that seemed to emit fromeverything and yet, somehow, nothing.“You ready to throw down? Three against one isn’t a great matchup, no matter how you look at it.” Shadowdancer flanked towards him, moving to the left corner of the desk. Cristaléhad taken the right side, leaving him no way to escape. Unless he could run through walls.“You are right. These odds are rather difficult. Are they not, Stormwave?”The glowing blue eyes, if they were even that, turned to face only the incoming fox. Onestep had taken her forward, though her mind wandered briefly with the effort needed to reach outand touch the air for electricity. She had to touch everything; the phones, outlets, lights, even...Him? “What?” With that, Zyla’s focus became laser tight, moving all of her extra-sense towards theglowing figure. His eyes seemed to change just a bit, angling as if he was enjoying the obviouslook of confusion on her muzzle. He was a bundle of electricity. A huge glow of chaotic energy, almost bursting and exploding with every second. A wave of energy that captured the light and pulled it in, masteringthe location so precisely that it almost seemed to replicate solid matter, despite coming from a massive cloud of small objects. “You’re... Not really here.” Nanomachines. A bunch of them, all projecting hard light. Or something like that, the details didn’t matter to the fox. All she knew was that this was some sort of creation, a fake, an image of their enemy.

“Ah, Stormwave. Ever the threat, even to me. Able to sense electricity? That’s an excellent power.” The words were calm and confident, still seemingly uncaring as to thesituation unfolded. Was it just that he wasn’t physically there? “However, I will not be attendingin person. An issue such as you can be handled via proxies.” The fox stepped forward, feeling a bit worried. Something like this could still provide athreat, attack, or make a weapon against them out of its own existence. Not that it mattered now, since there were three of them ready for it. She drew some power from the hologram, seeing it flicker faintly before managing to reassert itself.“Well, ladies, let’s just break this toy and get it to someone. We’ll figure this out.” The fox had a grin on her face. This was a machine. That meant she could be as violent as she wanted and it would still only be PG-13.“By all means. Go ahead.” The canine shadow rose from his seat. He spread his handsout, palms open, as if to show his surrender. With the two heroes near the desk, there should be no way for him to avoid their opening moves.

But nothing happened.

The other heroes simply... Stood there. Staring at him, gripping their weapons firmly. The amethyst glow seemed to intensify, cutting into the endless shadows cast by the husky, butneither of them moved.“Uh... Anyone home?”

“Stormwave, I don’t think...” Shadowdancer began, her voice fallen completely flat. There was something else to it, a tone hidden beneath the monotone. As if a second voice wasspeaking at the same time, using the husky’s tone as its own.
“That there is...” The rabbit continued her words. The accent that stretched out the ‘i’into an ‘e’ seemed to completely have vanished, adopting a neutral tone that defied theexperience of even trained linguists. It carried that same echo of a hidden, second voice.

“...Anyone here but you.”
