in that case, characters from the first few FEs are very hypnosis susceptible
1 had no resist growths, what you started with is what you had outside of Talismans and Pure Water; nearly everyone except a single guy starts with a 0, he starts with a 7 2 also had no resist growths, but at least everyone except for a single guy starts with at least 1 resist in 3, everyone had a 3% resist growth, no matter if they were moronic muscle or a wizened wizard
so, everyone from Marth and Alm's time, super weak to hypnosis; no wonder Celica was so easily manipulated
