Tears filled Wendy's eyes. It wasn't supposed to be like this. The Alliance of Guilds was supposed to stop the Oracion Seis. And defeat them they did, the six members of the dark guild falling to the combined might of the alliance. But their leader, Brain, revealed himself to housing a secret, second personality.

Master Zero had crushed the heroic mages. And now he wielded the superweapon, Pandora. Wendy's own guild, Cait Shelter, had been its first target. Her home, everyone she grew up with, destroyed in a moment. But after settling that ancient score, Master Zero turned the Pandora on the very her mages who once opposed him.

Using its alignment shifting power, Maser Zero warped those he considered worthy. Those who had defeated his former allies. Lucy Heartfilia, he declared, would replace Angel, whom she bested. Erza Scarlet, Fairy Tail's strongest woman, would replace the foster child she destroyed.

Both women swore they would never serve the maniacal madman.

Now Wendy's breath caught as she realised they had found her.

"Look, Erza,"drawled Lucy, the kindness in her voice now feigned. "The little sky bitch survived~"

"Master Zero may want her alive," spat Erza. The once Titania's body language illustrated her disgust at the thought of sparing one of her enemies' lives. "Come here, little girl..." the formerly noble female knight, hissed through gritted teeth.

These were not the brave, goodhearted young women Wendy had been introduced to a day before. She could see it. Their very souls had been irrevocably corrupted. Both stood, weapons at the ready. The little dragon slayer noticed that their Fairy Tail guild brands had been viciously clawed off. The blood beneath their fingernails indicated that the wounds were self-inflicted. Wendy choked back more tears. "Where are Natsu-san and the others?"

"Would you like to see for yourself?" sneered Erza.

Wendy stepped back, as Lucy grinned. "Changing your mind, Erza~? You'll upset Master, you know?"

Erza didn't take her eyes off of Wendy. She leaned back her head, never blinking."It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission," as she raised her sword. Her smile was grotesque, her beautiful features warped into showing the evil intent within.

Lucy cackled as Erza stepped forward.

Lucy Heartfilia and Erza Scarlet find their hearts and allegiances forever flipped.

The pic's pretty creepy, but when I first saw the thumbnail on the main page I thought Lucy and Era were going to go all River City Ransom.
