Legend says there is an immortal puppet master and magician. He travels around the world and invites young women to personal shows. There he would call the woman to the stage where string would descend from the ceiling and connect itself to the woman. Once all string were connected the string would pull upwards, turning the lovely contestant into a life-size marionette.
One day our mysterious puppet master traveled to Japan to vacation for a while and when he was back at his hotel he passed near a high school, at first he did not give much importance but then he saw something that left him amazed, in the distance he could see a beautiful purple-haired girl walking away quickly, our puppet master tried to chase her but didn't find her.
Some days passed and our puppet master kept thinking about that beautiful girl he saw, he even thought it had only been an illusion but he still was looking for it everywhere until one afternoon he saw she again. The puppet master felt very happy when he saw that girl again so the puppet master began to investigate everything he could of that girl. “This girl's name is Tohka, she studies at Raizen High School, she lives with other girls and a boy,” said our puppet master himself and also saw that this girl had great powers, that girl could invoke a huge sword and a large throne, however our puppet master already had a solution so that the powers of that girl were not a problem for him.
A few days later the puppet master met Tohka and gave her an invitation to a magic show. Tohka was very happy, she had attended a few magic shows before and had liked her a lot. "The show is this Friday at 7 pm," she told herself.
The days passed and Friday finally arrived and Tohka was very happy but also somewhat disappointed since the ticket said “ticket valid for one person” but that was not a problem for her.
At the end of the school, Tohka told Shido that she would arrive home later because she had something to do.
Tohka arrived at the right time at the place of the show and did not see any other person there, "will the show have already begun?" Tohka wondered so he quickly went to the theater entrance, there Tohka deposited her ticket in a machine and The theater door opened. When Tohka entered a voice was heard that said "welcome Tohka Yatogami", Tohka did not give much importance to that and continued walking down a corridor that apparently led her to the stage, "I enter the back of the theater" said Tohka When Tohka arrived at the stage, Tohka stopped when he saw that all the stands were empty and wondered "I think I'm late" however, Tohka didn't know what was about to happen to him. While Tohka was stopped, a strange string began to twist down from the ceiling, quickly connecting to Tohka's hand. Tohka felt that her hand was raised by that strange string but it also felt unusually good, suddenly other strings began to appear that seemed to be attracted to Tohka and finally connected to her.
When almost all the strings connected to Tohka's body, Tohka felt very strange but also very good and then Tohka slept.
When the strings finished connecting to Tohka's body, her organs disappeared, her powers too, her uniform became part of her body and her skin became plastic.
Tohka had a strange dream about puppets and woke up an hour later. When Tohka woke up she said to herself "oh no, I slept in the theater" and then she prepared to leave but she saw that she could not move, she could not speak, she also felt strange (and good at the same time) and still felt the strange strings connected to her body and although Tohka could not move, she could see that her hands were half raised by the strings and looked strange as if they were plastic and she finally realized what had happened to her.
Tohka told herself "I am ... I am a puppet" and then she heard a voice that said "the show is about to begin", immediately after the curtain of the theater was gone and Tohka saw that this time there were many people sitting in the stands and realized that she was part of the show.
Then, the strings moved by magic began to pull Tohka's body, causing Tohka to start juggling. Tohka felt a little scared but then she started feeling pretty good, "apparently it is not so bad to be a puppet" she told herself.
When the show ended and all the people left, the puppet master approached Tohka and said “sorry for turning you into a puppet, you are very pretty and I wanted you to be part of my show but you can go home if you want although I would like you to continue being part of my show ”, Tohka said nothing (of course she could think but not speak at the moment), then the pupet master said“ oh it's true you can't talk, wait ”and he give her a magic dust and then he said "you can talk" and then there was a very funny ventriloquism coming out of the Tohka, "oh, I loved being part of your show too much but I would have liked it better if you had told me that you would turning me in a puppet” then the pupet master told Tohka that if she still would like to remain a puppet and Tohka accepted.
In Tohka's house, Shido was very worried because Tohka didn't arrive but at that moment the phone rang, when Shido answered the phone he heard a very funny ventriloquism very similar to Tohka's voice that said “Hi Shido I'm fine don't worry but I think I will not return home for the moment. ”
It's been 3 months since Shido last saw Tohka, and all that time Shido had been asking Tohka on the phone how she was and sometimes took her a long time to answer him and when she did she said that she was fine but her voice still hearing quite funny at the same time, "why Tohka can't go home?" Shido wondered and at that moment Shido received an invitation to a magic show.
Shido was somewhat worried about that show since Tohka wasn't with him.
When Shido arrived at the theater he saw that there were many people but still Shido decided to stay to see the show so he went to his seat to wait for the show to begin. When the show began, Shido was very inpactated to see a puppet like Tohka who spoke very funny, "the voice of that puppet is very similar to that of Tohka," Shido said with a laugh.
Halfway through the show, the Tohka puppet greeted Shido and finally Shido realized, "That puppet is Tohka!" Shido told himself.
The show is over and people are getting less Shido who is trying to climb the stage to see Tohka. Shido is now in front of the Tohka puppet and very nervous asks “Tohka ?, what happened to you ??” and then the Tohka puppet emits a very funny ventriloquism in response to Shido's question, “oh nothing in particular is just a funny magic trick that someone did to me” then Shido asks the Tohka puppet “can we go home now?” However, the Tohka puppet responds with a ventriloquism “nope nope, I have to attend more shows with the puppet master and look for more girls who will turning into puppets by the great puppet master ”, then Shido says “oh… and when you will return home” and Tohka answers “until vacations, this is my new job and I have many things to do” and then Shido tells him "Well, well, but when you get back to normal? Is this irreversible?" And then the Tohka puppet says "it's not irreversible" and then Shido says "ok, but could you take a vacation right now?" And the Tohka puppet responds "No Shido, I have work to do and it's getting late, I have to go to the next show but if you want you can come visit me every day ... while I'm in Japan, the puppet master has several shows to do elsewhere of the world” then Shido gets a little nervous, takes Tohka's strings off and says “take vacations for only this week” and then the Tohka puppet stops talking and moving and falls off right after Shido takes the strings off, then Shido very nervous reconnects the strings to the Tohka puppet that immediately gets up and something annoying tells him "Shido if you take my strings off I fall asleep !!" then Shido says very nervous "oh ... I wanted to return you to normal" , then the puppet Tohka tells him "only the puppet master can return me to normal under certain special conditions" and then the puppet master appears and asks "everything okay?"
Shido now has a problem, he doesn't want to understand that this is Tohka's new job and that she is happy with him, of course she will return home when the holidays arrive.
