Kayz stared up into the snake’s glowing eyes, finding it all but impossible to pull his gaze away.

“It’s adorable that you thought your knife would be enough to stop me, but there’s an order that won’t be so easily defied.” The lizard murmured, letting her long body wrap around Kayz’ legs.
