Yo so

Decided to revive a series of mine that has been dead for years for reasons unknown even to myself. No promises, but I do have some solid ideas for more so assuming this sudden burst of motivation doesn't die out hopefully there will be more coming.

Text is below if you find it difficult to read:

The elders say you’ll regret marking your body with ink when you’ve grown to their age, and while I can’t say for sure I agree, I can certainly recommend against a certain sort of tattoo artist.

Perhaps one of the most unique and fascinating of enchantresses, the Horishi hail from a secretive island far to the east. Their power lies in their ability to permanently enslave anyone they mark with their ink and brush. Perhaps the most skilled tattoo artists ever seen, they brand blissful and mindless compliance with each masterful stroke, creating complex and beautiful permanent patterns on their victims. They are solitary and nomadic by nature, moving from town to town in order to find new “subjects”. They will take any human they can, though they show preference for bodies with “artistic merit”. Once the first tattoo is completed and this slow but refined process of enslavement is complete, they refer to their victim forever more as their “Canvas”.

The completion of the tattooing process causes a most intriguing change in the victim. The very moment where the victim ceases to be thinking being, and becomes forever more a living art piece, is marked by an eruption of fluid from their now swollen breasts. The milk of the breasts has combined with the very ink that entrapped the victim, and the subject now serves not only as a work of art for the Horishi, but as an unlimited supply of Ink.

The Horishi are obsessed with their own medium, constantly refining their techniques and skills to perfection. Unlike other enchantresses, they have little interest in their victim outside of the artistic opportunities they present. Once a Horishi has “completed” a Canvas, it is not uncommon for the “work of art” to be auctioned off to the wealthy and lascivious in shady back door deals. By this point, the Canvas is little more than blissful puppet, and will happily obey any and all instructions given.

Though the Horishi are generally friendly with their own kind, trading patterns and techniques on the few occasions they meet, ultimately their art comes first. Many hear whispers on the wind that the ink produced from a Horishi canvas is beyond exquisite…

Horishi are unlikely to seek out a new subject, preferring for their prey to come to them. Therefore, they are not particularly difficult to avoid. If you wish to have your skin marked, but do not intend for your body to be another’s magnum opus, follow these simple rules:

1. Know your artist. A traveller is not worth the risk, no matter their skill.
2. Never accept a drink from someone you do not know well (A good rule in life as well)

And most important…

3. While it is true that Horishi’s never mark their own body (for somewhat obvious reasons), do not assume that because the artist is marked themselves, they are safe. Many a cunning enchantress has displayed one of her “works in progress” as the artist themselves, in order to allay fear.

Here, in a typical example of the Horishi’s craft, an unassuming courtesan has been lured into the enchantress’s clutches by the promise of tattoos fit to turn any head. Once inside the Horishi’s travelling tent, she was offered a cup of a tea said to sooth the pain of the tattoos. Perhaps this wasn’t entirely a lie, though it certainly wasn’t tea..

Fig. 1: A long enslaved Canvas, hidden from sight until the trap was sprung, now collects milk-ink from her overflowing breasts for her master to use. Just the contact of the ink on her skin is enough to stupefy her further, making for an altogether messy affair. Perhaps the Horishi’s new Canvas will be less clumsy.

Fig 2: The color of the milk-ink produced from a “Canvas” (as the Horishi refer to them) is unique to the individual. When the ink is applied to another victim, enchantments woven into the bristles of a Horishi’s brush change its hue as soon as it comes into contact with the skin.

Fig 3: The Milk-Ink, in its untouched state, is a powerful aphrodisiac and thought-muddler. One sip is enough to put a subject into a euphoric state of compliance, perfect for a Horishi to make their first and most important mark.

I like the ideal but figure 1 looks like she’s lactating blood and it irks me. Cool ideal.

I am so excited to see this back. Worth it even if this is the only new update it gets.

Hah, I have a tattoo of the Great Seal of the USA you know the All seeing Eye, and in issue one of Fairy Tail the villain uses that symbol to tattoo his slaves.

It was pretty spooky to read lol b/c that's not what I thought it meant xD

But yes tattoos are pretty slutty in retrospect.

As for this manip, Not a bad text at least its creative.

So glad to see it's back! I'd been hoping to see a continuation for years. Man, almost no series on the hub get closure.
