I can't help but obsess about that little story for Chiaki in the deviant art post. She's the bodyguard? Really? Because she plays fighting games?

I'm just saying if the Ultimate Hypnotist had managed to piss me off, or anyone else of average strength for that matter, he better be getting those hands ready cause no way Chiaki is beating anyone in a physical fight.

I mean, it'd be easier to count who would be less suitable as a bodyguard, haha. Like, let's see. Sakuya has the physical fitness to play on stage which requires a lot of resources and strength to do. Aoi is a professional Swimmer. Sakura is Sakura. DR1 spoilers (Mukuro is the Ultimate Solider, Celeste managed to cart a dead body around, Junko has to be physically fit at the very least to be a model. Toko is a serial killer. Kyoko is debatable but considering she carried DR1 crew on her back and survived an attack by the mastermind, she clearly can at least dodge something that has the intent to kill.)

Akane is obvious. Peko is a swordfighter. Sonia is a princess which may seem fair but considering she knows about (WAR ARMS AND WEAPONS TO A WORRYING DEGREE) she's more capable. Ibuki runs miles for fun according to her supports. (For case 3 to work Mikan has to be an olmpic runner. Even then she still is a nurse which at the very least means she knows how to stab people) Mahiru and Hiyoko are the only two that might be worse (and that's only including pre-tall Hiyoko. She's a dancer, which has to take some skill at the very least.)

Kirumi is a maid who can do anything so she must have some physical talent. Tenko is physically fit thanks to her talent (as is Maki and Tsumugi if we take into account her cosplay abilities so she coild transform into a fit character) Kaede is debtable but if you put an piano player and a video game player in a fight, I think Piano is gonna win. Same with Miu, debateable but she has an advantage in a fight, espically if inventions are allowed. But hey, at least she can beat up Angie and Himiko?

I can't believe I wasted time on this.

Oh I have no shame in admitting that most if not all the DR characters can fuck me up in a fight. But no. Out of all the characters Mr. Hypnotist decided on Chiaki. So allow me to reiterate. This man better be getting those hands ready.

Two problems with that. A. That was likely a comedy moment and should not be taken seriously. B. I have blocoed DR3 out od my mind becsuse I despise it that much.

dr3 wasn't all bad. it gave us chisa and was probobly one of the most horrific parts of the entire dr series in the despair side. it also fleshed out impostor, created a canonicly gay character and revealed more about future foundation. now, i don't say that it was good (cause it really wasn't) but i think that in even the worst of shows there are good stuff.
