*Toon Link, not Young Link. The key to telling the difference without seeing the particle effects around the bombs (Toon Link's bombs having the swirls upon exploding, and Young Link's having the same particle effects as the Bob-omb items upon exploding) is the Shield pattern. Depending on the particular version of Smash being played, Young Link uses either the Hylian Shield pattern, or the Deku Shield pattern, whereas Toon Link uses the particular pattern shown in this image which looks like a Wooden Shield with the Hylian Shield pattern's two major aspects (those aspects being the bird (which we learned from Skyward Sword is based off Loftwings), and the Triforce positioned above said bird.)
