Gosh, guess it's a pretty interesting take on the DC heros. They look much better this way, and I'm sure they even got some new powers.

I'm unsure if they gained any new powers but having some super heroes under their thrall will be most useful for more recruitment. Powered hypno slaves make the best ones!
