I have the vaguest memories of this. There was some kind of failed attempt at making a line of goth dolls with an accompanying comic book series called the "Begoths" in the late 2000s. I don't think it lasted beyond a single issue.

Weird aside, when Brad Bird was writing the Incredibles tie-in comics, he was originally going to name Mesmerella something else that I don't remember, but got hit with a copyright thing because whatever company owned this thing was using the same name for this character.

How unfortunate. This looks good. If it was in color, it be God tier.

From what I can find there seemed to have been 2 issues maybe?
First issue was called something along the lines of "The Hypnotic Gaze" so I kinda wanna read it now but I can't find it anywhere

Take this with a massive grain of salt because I'm just making assumptions based on a few small memories, but I think the idea was that every one of these characters was supposed to have a superpower, and that maybe they were planning on having an issue for each character where each one gets to show theirs off. So this first issue was the character with the hypno-eyes.

IIRC their friend was locked up in a mental hospital unecessarily by her parents because "fuck you mom and dad, you laugh at me because I'm different I laugh at you because you're all the same" stuff, and this was making the nurse help them break their friend out.
