From the wiki: Planting itself onto the brainstem, the parasite begins to grow. During its growth, it destroys the nerves connecting the brainstem with the brain itself, and takes over functions as a replacement. This act gives the NE-α Type complete control over the host.

So you can imagine that Jill is still alive, but an obedient host who will die without her new parasite master since he replaced her brainstem.

Looks great! I always love a good mind controlling parasite. Now we need to see her using it to infect Claire. Maybe you could use one of the assets from the RE 2 remake for Claire? I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Honestly, I hate how brutal the death animation is in the new RE remakes are. RE2r had the right amount in my opinion. but 3r's just makes me think of the tomb raider remakes instant deaths where it felt more "fetishy".

also, the "you are dead" screen kinda makes it clear this is not really minding control. but ya
