I will never not think about the concept that the millennium rod can only control people who's name is steve and that in order to control Tea, her name had to be legally changed to steve.

Like this a lot. I've always imagined scenarios about how Tea initially got her mind taken over when she was captured, and this fits the bill. Really wished they had something like this in the anime/manga itself though.

As someone that has never watched Yu-Gi-Oh: it can only control WHO NOW? What even is the context of that? I'm laughing so hard at this concept xD

It´s a running gag from the Youtube series "Yu Gi Oh Abridged," the actual YGO Millenium Rod has no such stipulation (That we know of ;))
