I think she's supposed to be controlled, but it's just doing a really poor job of showing it. There's no visual cues (no hypnosis eyes, the helmet doesn't even look like it does anything), and the mom's personality doesn't even change. Like, I was pretty sure she would fuck her son from the very beginning.

I also kind of wish this series had a longer induction scene (or rather just an induction scene as the one we got was almost non-existant). Half the reason hypnosis is hot is the induction part. That or a sudden and forceful surge of control over the inductee. but for that to work, that usually entails a personality change like what mindwipe said.

I understand these things take a long time to make so I don't want to sound like I'm ripping on the artist for not including what I like but MC is one of those rare fetishes where the setup actually matters and the setup here is pretty mediocre.

I actually like how you can't be sure if she is controlled or not. It seems that either the mind control helmet puts thoughts into the person's head so they believe they are their own natural thoughts. Or it may be what he said it was, a helmet that can read her thoughts, and speaking her thoughts out loud made her willing to act them out. The ambiguity is what give this comic its personal flavor and makes it different than a lot of other comics.

I can't remember the comic's actual name, but it was something like "the 5 yen coin" or "the power of the 5 yen coin"
