For the record, "Sensei" doesn't always mean teacher. It's more like "master" as in "Master of their art" (as opposed to master/slave), and can refer to teachers, doctors, authors and other professions. Likely in this story the "Sensei"s mentioned are authors, since this woman is an editor.

When it's being used as a term of address (like here), something like "Sir" would likely be the best translation.
