Tag type: General

One or more characters in the image are known to be (officially) transgender. For captions or other text-based images the story takes priority over the image (e.g. a caption that mentions a transgender character but uses a non-transgender character as the image does get this tag)

Not to be confused with transgender which refers to a physical transformation into another gender.

Note that the characters themselves should still be tagged according to "Tag what you see" and this does not replace the 'gender' (male/female/futa/androgynous) tags.
