Futurama is an American animated sci-fi sitcom. Aired on the Fox Network from 1999–2003, Comedy Central from 2008–2013, and on the streaming service Hulu from 2023. The show is a workplace sitcom, following the adventures of Philip_Fry, Turanga_Leela, Bender and other characters who work for the Planet Express delivery company in the 31st century.
The show features several instances of mind control and hypnosis, including the Brain_Slug, which inhibits thought when placed on a character's head and feasts on their brainwaves. The character of Hypnotoad is another example, who possesses hypnotic_eyes. The character Yivo's tentacles are also considered a form of mind control via brain_injection through the neck which can cause a happy_trance that makes any character fall in love with it.
