A character is facing down, with at least their arms or upper body in contact with the surface underneath them, their shoulders close to (or touching) the ground, and their rear raised. Typically the rear should be raised enough that the character's knees are no lower than about their shoulders.
If the character is supporting their own weight, and doing so with their arms, they are probably on all_fours.
If character's butt is up and their legs are spread to the side, they are in jack-o_pose
