Well, they did make the anime Mimikyu want to murder every Pikachu everywhere, so ... :P

And yes. Regional variants should be a thing from here on, and not abandoned after the current generation. It's a perfect idea that'd work anywhere - even in remakes of older games!

I talked about this idea for the pokemon tabletop game but, Mimikyus dressed as other pokemon rather than Pikachu.

Lie one dressed as Chamander with little burns on it's costume or one dressed as Jigglypuff that has lopsided eyes.
