Hi all, I'm new here and thought I'd introduce myself

I'm Lasci_Me, which is a contraction of my tumblr username, which would be a bit of a mouthful (lasciviousmesmer). I'm an amataur 3D render artist, who's had a fascination/fetish for hypnosis for some time, but is just starting to explore the online world.

Found you guys having spotted the name in conjunction with some posts on tumblr from a few of the residents (most notably Zko, loving Skypenotized, btw) and immediately knew this was a community I wanted to be a part of.

I've recently started dabbling with my own hypno themed art, and, will likely share here once I've got over the nerves of being a newbie round here

Do you do any 3d animation or texture/modeling? Or strictly posing existing rigs? A good way to get a lot of love fast is animation on this site :P

Yet another has joined our ranks; welcome to the hub and we all welcome you with open arms, pocket watches, and spirals ready. Anyway, it is always nice to meet someone new and I hope you enjoy being a part of our community :)

At the moment it's predominantly posing, though I've built up a fair collection of assets so I can get a fairly varied range of looks/styles/genres, and I dabble a bit in retexturing. Hope to teach myself the modeling side of the field when I get the time, but it's a steep learning curve (and I keep getting distracted)

I know 3d modeling, texturing and 3d animation myself so the first tip I can give you for modeling is once you know the tools just go and find tutorials on how to model random crap (Tires, watches, cameras) and make sure your not forming bad habits (NEVER have n-gons) the learning curve is steep but its also overall shallow, once you know the basics its easy going from there.

Though if you already do posing and what not, you're already one step ahead in the game if you wanted to animate in 3d, learning curve is not too steep but ITS SUPER HIGH, you're always going to be learning. Animators survival guide is a good start if youre interested in animation but 12 principles of animation is A MUST no matter how small your animations are, its like the 10 commandments for animators. And something that is often looked over but pretty vital (especially for porn i think) is the character's silhouette and frame's composition, keep an eye to keep silhouette clear and interesting with compositions pleasing and youre gonna be awesome.

Final protip overall for the hub, criticism is vital, if someone hates on your pics, listen to them and see how you can improve.
