Hi, I'd just like to say that the "sleepwalking" tag is often misused; unless otherwise stated by the artist, either in the art or in the description, it really shouldn't be used for any character who is walking while under hypnosis with their **eyes open**. If their arms are out, it should be tagged "zombie_walk".

My suggestion is to add a new tag for just general walking while under hypnosis. "hypnowalk/hypno walk", "hypnotized walking", "hypno walking" or simply just "walking" (used for hypno walking only, not for any character who happens to be walking at the time, that'd just be silly.)

I think your point is valid, so I went with your suggestion and made the tag "hypnotized_walking". I updated the wiki pages so that sleepwalking, zombie-walking, and hypnotized walking are all distinct but related tags. I think the new tag fills a niche, and I've gone through and tagged a fair amount of posts it applies to. If anyone has feedback about the wiki definitions or tag, feel free to bring it up.

Is there a tag for clothing worn just on the penis, like in this post: hypnohub.net/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=74443

Don't believe so. Closest thing we got here would be "erection under clothes" but that doesn't cover all scenarios. Other sites have "covered" tags which are more like what you're looking for (tags like "covered_penis, covered_navel, etc)

I suppose we could add those types of tags here if there's enough images that warrant them.

I think I've only run across a handful (and most were by the same artist), so I don't think it really warrants a new tag, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing an existing one. Especially since I'm not sure what to call that. Dick_sock? Penis_sleeve? Cock_warmer? Hard to search when you don't know what to search for, so I appreciate you weighing in.

hypnotic_mirror
Hiyo! I just recently tried updating some artwork with the hypnotic_mirror tag, and I set some boundaries between what artwork entails it, vs there just being someone who's hypnotized and they're just looking at the mirror while being hypnotized by something or someone else outside the mirror through the reflection.

I think I have it mostly down, though there's a good chunk of artwork where it's just one person looking at their reflection, and it's different from the real one, with no external implication that either the mirror or someone else is doing anything. And ones with possession are tricky, as ghosts are not necessarily bound to the mirror, or doing anything through them.

I was tempted to use the hypnotic_mirror tag in those situations, but I realize that it might just be a narrative/framing devise rather than the mirror literally being involved. Also I was worried at first that it might clash with the hypnotic_screen tag, but I realized by browsing the mirror works, none of theme were really tagged with that, not even the ones with the spiral being very blatantly on the surface of the mirror, so that was a relief.

Any thoughts on this?

I think if it looks like the mirror is causing the hypnosis (i.e. there are no other clear causes and no backstory), it should be tagged as hypnotic_mirror, to follow the general rule of "Tag what you see".

Regarding when the reflection is a modified version of the person in the mirror, perhaps the tag "dual_persona" would apply?

Is there a way to see all the tags in order of how many times they have been used?

Like, what the most popular tags on the site are? Sadly, I don't know of one. Trying to use the tags tab search with "*" tells you to refine your search.

New Tag Suggestion: Mulitple Views
I've been wanting to bring this tag over to the hub for a while now since it can apply to so many of the pics on here. But before I start tagging hundreds of posts with this tag, I probably should get a general consensus about it. Soo...

Multiple Views!

"Two or more different pictures of the same character in an image. These can be the same character from different viewpoints, in different outfits, in different poses, or any combination." -defined on Danbooru

I realize that a good majority of what the tag would cover is already covered by "before_and_after" like post #148579, but there are many pics that aren't and I believe having this tag would nicely cover posts such as post #137522. Also it'd be great to look up pics where specific characters are featured multiple times in different positions or viewpoints.

Thoughts?

I do think that has a niche here, since the tag "comic" isn't really a good match. The definition and name seem fine to me as well.

Cool, I'll just go on a tagging spree next time I'm free.

There are the tags "night", "moon", and "moonlight". Do we need all three?
"Night" makes sense, since it makes it a lot easier to find an image if you remember it was set at night.
As for "moon" and "moonlight", I think most of those posts are covered by "night", except when the moon/moonlight triggers a werewolf-like transformation. Other than that, I'm not sure the moon is important enough to warrant a special tag, especially since it's usually pretty small in a picture.
Anyone have input on this?

In my opinion, I'm down with aliasing "moonlight" and "moon" with "night". I can see the reason that people may want to search for images set at nighttime, but the moon/moonlight isn't that necessary, especially on this site compared to other imageboards where they tag absolutely everything.

Also, I'm sure anyone looking for werewolf-like transformations would just search up "werewolf", "transformation" and/or "furry" before looking up those tags anyways.

Moon/Moonlight is necesary because the Full Moon can be a hypnosis trigger or a different kind of werewolf. (although i didn't know we had a moon tag lol, i added to some of my pics now).

For example in this pic there's no transformation at all, so the werewolf tag wouldn't work.
hypnohub.net/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=143453

Maybe that would be changed to "moon_trigger" or something.
